Birch Tree Psychology offers a level of specialization, training, and clinical expertise that sets us apart. Our team of experienced therapists is skilled in a wide range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, play therapy, art therapy, and more. We began as a practice focused on children with anxiety and depression and have grown to serve clients of all ages with diverse needs—from trauma and OCD to sports performance, relationship challenges, and treatment-resistant depression.

What truly makes us unique is our commitment to matching each client with the therapist best suited to their personality, age, and goals. We take the time to ensure the right fit so therapy can be as effective and meaningful as possible. Whether working with a shy child, an angry teen, or a young adult struggling to launch, our team provides compassionate, results-driven care tailored to each individual.

Our therapists use evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring personalized and effective care.

A few of our psychologists are in-network with Aetna, but the majority of our practice operates on an out-of-network basis. If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, we are happy to provide detailed documentation (a superbill) that you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance company to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

Our fees vary depending on the therapist and the type of service provided. We don’t list rates online because we prefer to speak with you directly to ensure you have all the information you need. Please feel free to call our office or fill out the contact form, and our team will be happy to discuss rates, availability, and help you determine the best next step for your needs.

We understand that beginning therapy can feel like a big step. While we don’t offer a free consultation, we welcome you to reach out and explore whether Birch Tree Psychology is the right fit for your needs. Our goal is to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible. Call us at (973) 839-3060 to speak with our intake coordinator.
